I love being a dentist and serving my patients. I am blessed to be able to help people while doing something I truly love and am passionate about. It is so rewarding to experience a patient’s renewed confidence or hear “I wish I had done this years ago!”

A big part of our success is that we listen. When I meet a patient, I am always sure to ask what their goals are for their mouth. Whether maintaining health, replacing a single tooth, or starting fresh with a smile makeover, I want to know what is important to YOU – then my job is to help get you there. I am passionate about determining exactly what my patients want, and then delivering it at the highest level.

Getting to that level requires skill, experience, and a commitment to continued learning. This is one of the reasons I was so excited to join Bedford Dental Care in 2014. I absolutely LOVE collaborating with such an amazing, committed team of dentists, each with their own strengths (seriously, the team here is awesome). My greatest emphasis is on restorative dentistry and orthodontics utilizing Invisalign clear aligners. I have been extremely fortunate to have studied under and been mentored by some of the brightest minds in those fields.

When I’m not at the office, I’m spending time with my family. My amazing wife Maggie is a hair stylist who now stays at home with our five sons (yes, you read that right) – Henry, Theo, Oliver, Sam, and Cole. We spend a lot of time hiking local trails, running around at the beach, playing at the park, etc – anything outside to get their energy out! The boys and I have taken on a few very beginner level projects around the house, which helps to keep us busy and out of trouble. I also enjoy cooking, especially grilling and smoking meats and making sushi and poke bowls. Our family is active in our church and in the foster care community.

I want to know what is important to you – then my job is to help get you there.

I am especially proud of two recent accomplishments:

    • Earned my Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry, an award fewer than 6% of dentists in the US and Canada have received.

Many people have asked me through my adults years, “what do you do for a living?” The boring textbook answer is I am a Prosthodontist. However, how I see myself as someone who strives to provide a wonderful customer experience, in which patients can obtain their ideal oral health and function. I help people Smile, Eat, Laugh, Enjoy their ultimate moments in life. I want the opportunity to help everyone make and maintain their smiles of their future enjoyment.

If the year of 2020 has shown us anything, the lack of visible smiles in our world is sadly depressing. I am so excited to see mask-less faces, so that people can convey their happiness and joy with their smiles again.

Usually during a dentist bio page, the page lists achievements, awards, and education of the dentist; however I would like to proceed with my page a little differently. First and for most, I am a certified dental nerd (just ask my wife or any BDC team member). I am continuously studying and learning more about my craft; but I do not want to bore you with those details. For those of you that want that information, please ask during your visit with me, or follow this link to my accomplishments (link to below), though you should be ready for a highly intense, long conversation about the many ways that dentistry is amazing and the ways technology has advanced our care for patients.

Otherwise, here is the quick version of my dental story. After completing 4 years of dental school studies, I continued to learn via a 3 year residency in Prosthodontics (think replacement/rebuilding of teeth). These 3 years were highly educational in rebuilding smiles, dental implants, and overall helping patients with complex issues. After residency I joined the wonderful team at Bedford Dental Care. Over the last 15 years, I have had the wonderful experience of helping many people re-gain their smiles, function, and health; while continuing to learn from many mentors and continuing education sources.

“I help people smile, eat, and laugh”

That gives you some insight into my life as a dentist, but what is missing is why dentistry? Why did I pursue this career path? That story starts much earlier in my life. As a teenager and young adult, I was blessed with good strong teeth, however I had an excessive amount of gum tissue. This caused my front teeth to look short or tiny. Because of this, I did not smile as big nor often as my personally would have liked (though I do not realize this at the time).During my sophomore of college, I visited with a periodontist (gum and bone dentist) and he performed a gum lift surgery. He removed the excessive gum tissues. WOW, the results were amazing and more importantly the growth in my self confidence/self esteem was huge. All of a sudden, I was smiling more, laughing more. I was amazed at the mental improvement this physical changed had, & from that moment on I knew I wanted to help people in the same manner this dentist helped me. I wanted to help people achieve their ideal smiles, their ideal function & hopefully I could have even a small influence like my dental procedure had upon myself.

Well that is enough of the dental talk here.Let’s talk about the most important aspect of my life today-my family. My family is most important thing to me in this world. That starts with my amazing wife Andrea and our son Pierce.Whenever this dental nerd is not working, I strive to spend as much time with them (and our four legged child—Scottsdale (a labradoodle) as possible. We spend many wonderful moments kayaking, playing golf, fishing, traveling(hope to do this again soon)watching movies, hiking, basically any moment with them is great.

Hello everyone! It feels awesome to return to the Granite State to join this awesome practice and team. I am a New Hampshire native and was born and raised in the Queen City. I attended the University of New Hampshire where I studied Biochemistry, joined a chemistry fraternity (yes, it’s as nerdy as it sounds), and decided I wanted to be a dentist. I would often return to Manchester during my undergraduate years to shadow local dentists and get to see what goes on behind the scenes. It’s during this time that I fell in love with the profession when I was able to watch so many people get amazing and transformative care.

I later left my home state and went to Newark, New Jersey where I received my Master’s in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University and got to eat my heart out with all the delicious Peruvian and BBQ spots sprinkled over the Brick City.

After that I moved to the historic South End of Boston where I furthered my studies in gastronomy and spent 4 years at Boston University School of Dental Medicine studying general dentistry. You would think I had my fill of good food and education by this point, but old habits die hard, and I decided I wanted to increase my skills and expertise, so I completed a residency in advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) in Portland, Maine through Maine Medical Center and Tufts University. There I learned to treat complex and diverse patient populations and expanded my surgical, functional, and cosmetic abilities.

I understand that not everyone loves the dentist. Knowing this, I try to create a more casual, light-hearted atmosphere to reduce any anxiety and fears you may have.

"I try to create a more casual, light-hearted atmosphere to reduce any anxiety you may have. "

Originally from Austin, Texas, I have made the journey to the beautiful landscapes of New Hampshire. I attended Texas University, where I studied Biomedical Sciences, and then to the Baylor-Texas College of Dentistry, where I honed my dental skills over four rewarding years. I had been practicing dentistry in the bustling city of Dallas for the past three years, but felt the pull of adventure and the call of the outdoors that brought me to Bedford Dental Care. I knew it was time for me to change out my running shoes and cowboy boots for some ski shoes and hiking boots.

Being a dentist is not just a profession for me; it’s a source of immense satisfaction to provide dental care to my patients. I love to inspire my patients to take charge of their oral health, and guide them towards the smile they’ve always desired. There’s nothing more satisfying than hearing my patients say that they “have never smiled more.” I am a great believer of having a healthy foundation, from fixing a troublesome tooth to correcting a traumatic bite. Whether it’s through the artistry of restorative dentistry or the precision of orthodontic alignment with Invisalign, I’m dedicated to crafting your beautiful, healthy smiles and providing you with the highest level of care.

I have a strong focus in long-lasting restorative and cosmetic dentistry and both functional and cosmetic Invisalign. At the chairside with me, you’ll notice that I aspire to make your visit as relaxing as possible. I love to engage in conversational dentistry to better understand you and your goals. It’s important to me to establish genuine connections and ensure my patients’ comfort through every visit.

In my spare time, I love spending quality moments with my fiancé, Madison, and our spirited Aussiedoodle, Charlie. We’re all about embracing the active New Hampshire lifestyle, be it hiking the captivating trails, playing tennis, or a visit to the ski slopes. When we’re not on the move, we’re on a culinary journey, enjoying diverse dining scenes or keeping up with college and professional football leagues.
